What is REMS Testing and How Does it Relate to Bone Density?
Parsley health is pleased recommend FDA-cleared REMS test at all OsteoStrong centers. REMS utilizes advanced ultrasound and radiofrequency imaging technology to provide precise, non-invasive evaluation of bone density and bone quality.
Unlike traditional DEXA scans, which use X-rays and can produce inconsistent or less reliable results, REMS involves no radiation exposure and incorporates both a T-Score (bone density) and a unique Fragility Score to assess bone quality and fracture risk.
The REMS test is quick, comfortable, and pain-free, delivering real-time results in just minutes. It is safe for regular monitoring and provides a smarter, safer, and more comprehensive approach to proactive bone health management.
